Polylactic acid (PLA) fibres, as a material with excellent environmental performance, are fully biodegradable, and both the material itself and its degradation products are safe and harmless to the human body. It has led to the approval of PLA fibres by the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) as a safe material for implantation into the human body and for use in contact with food. As a result, PLA tobacco tows and filter rods have become a green and environmentally friendly filtration material. 

Our company has successfully developed and produced a range of PLA tows and filter rods in different colors to meet the needs of some customers for personalized and differentiated product development.
