Paper-based cooling filter rods are innovative filter rods made by coating paper with a special cooling material that replaces the PLA film material. After coating, the adsorption property of the paper to the smoke is significantly reduced, which effectively meets the stringent requirements of heated cigarettes in terms of ‘efficient cooling, low adsorption, low absorption resistance, and large smoke volume’.

Based on this technical advantage, our company has successfully developed ternary paper-based composite filter rods and paper-based burst bead composite filter rods. Among them, the specifications of ternary paper-based composite rods are 132mm×22.8mm×600Pa, adopting the unique structural design of ‘10mm hollow section+15mm paper-based section + 8mm acetate section’. At present, these two products have been applied in ‘FARSTAR’ brand natural smoke-heated cigarettes by China Tobacco Enterprises.
